PROCESSING AND PACKAGING

The Agrifood production reaches the market;

• directly

• in a processed and packaged form  

• trough a manufacturing stage  

The processing in some instances and by necessity takes place close to the production area, canning and freezing, while manufacturing makes use of the results of the processing stage and can be carried out anywhere.

The project will analyse this Agrifood aspect and produce a map of the processing packaging and manufacturing industry in each of the partner's countries.
