The Emed B2B network is made available to enterprise
of any size who wish to trade with other enterprises,
their products, production capacity and/or services on a national,
international or global scale.
Trading and access to the service is controlled by the Member Associations of Euro-Med TDS and the Emed Consortium
The results of the Emed project will be made available to all the members of Euro-Med TDS, and the product may be used by them to form any number of B2B e-Market networks.
Although the selected domain for the pilot phase is Agrifood, subsequently the Emed B2B platform may be adopted to other industrial sectors, and/or to interconnect with other e-commerce platforms, both national and international.
The project partners that form the Emed e-Market network, are active both with in their respective countries as well as on the global level. The management of the network and the network node B2B transactions are managed through a Common Registry, located on Euro-Med TDS premises.
The Emed service permits businesses and business associations to access regional, national and global markets. The Emed Platform is applicable to any company large or small who wishes to engage in a B2B and be part of a distributed trading network.
